Winnipeg, Manitoba is one of the coldest cities on earth and the last couple weeks we had arctic air flow down and chill us to the bone. In fact it was so cold that the main water line to my house froze and we didn't have water.
Now I am sure many of you have heard me speak about how grateful I am to have hot and cold running water but this past week gave me an even greater appreciation. We were at the mercy of our neighbours to provide us with enough water to drink, fill our taps and wash our dishes. It's when you don't have something that you really realize how much it does for you. Think of all the simple day to day tasks that you can't do simply because you don't have water. Brushing your teeth, going to the bathroom, washing your hands etc all become much harder. When you are fortunate enough to have them back I recommend you hold space and remember what it was like to not have them.
This past week I was humbled by not having water, it allowed me to cut straight to the core and see how vulnerable we all can be. Water is life as they say and this man is truly grateful to have it back.
In other news the girls and I are busy working away on our new spring collection and finalizing our new spring box. I am SOOO excited to share with you the new limited edition collection and explain more what the spring box has in store for you. I am pretty sure this is the most excited I’ve been for a while and I can’t wait to share it with you.
Well that's all for now,
ps. I am available for virtual or in-store appointments, who knows you might even get a secret sneak peak. Please leave a message or comment below and I’ll get back to you asap!
