About Lennard Taylor, The Artist:

He is deeply aware of the environmental impact of textile waste and is passionate about educating others on this critical issue. His creativity extends to using fabric waste to create sculptures, art installations, and other unique pieces. Even the smallest scraps find new life as pillow stuffing or jewelry, ensuring that nothing goes to waste. Lennard Taylor’s work is a testament to the power of creativity, art, and fashion to make a meaningful impact on the world.

Early Life: 

Lennard was born to two creative parents—his mother, an incredible hand-needle textile artist, interior designer, and extraordinary mother, and his father, a lifelong painter and architect. From an early age, his mother kept his two older sisters entertained with arts and crafts, and as soon as Lennard was old enough, he eagerly joined in. First, he got his hands dirty, and as soon as he could grip a brush, he did. The family, coming from modest means, was deeply immersed in arts and culture. 

In his teenage years, Lennard rebelled against arts and crafts to engage in sports, which eventually brought him to Europe at 18. All alone in the UK, he struggled with injury, and when it finally claimed his sports career, he turned to art and fashion to boost his mood. This rediscovery of his childhood gifts came back in full force. After a year of study in Europe, he returned home to start his namesake label, which quickly blossomed into the recognizable brand you know and love today.
