Morning writing review

Hello all you beautiful people

Today I want to talk about something I wrote the other morning after my morning practice.  You see after I do my morning routine I like to grab my pen and paper to write what I am feeling in the moment.  I dont think just simple write whatever comes to mind, it's as if something is writing for me. 

“May the journey be bright and bold, may it be filled with joy and merriment for we have this chance for happiness.  We are all fortunate to experience this human form, how many times we do not know.  This is why it's so important to stay present in this moment.  When we draw in focus on the breathe with conscious intent we increase our happiness.  Increasing our happiness allows us to vibrate at a higher frequency which draws in more like minded positive vibrations.  The more we can connect to these higher states the better we feel.  It’s when we are in the lower states that we are more susceptible to that which may harm us.  Be aware of how you feel and charge yourself up for you have the ability to make change in your life.”

I don’t know how or why these thoughts come to mind but I feel fortunate to work through them.  The first line, “may the journey be bright and bold, may it be filled with joy and merriment for we have this chance for happiness.”   This is just a great way to open up, I think it's about living in the moment and enjoying what we have right in front of us.  When we are aware of the moment we are blessed with happiness.  The next couple lines are about reincarnation, I don’t know what your thoughts are about this but I think that we come back to earth again and again to experience this human form.  Do I know why?  No but I can’t help but feel that i’ve been here before.

I don’t know whether we come back to earth again and again or if this is our one chance before making it to heaven or hell.  Either way, what I do know is that all I have is this moment I am in now.  It’s the only chance I have for happiness so I am choose to live it to the best of my abilities.

The next couple lines are directed at the breathe and being conscious of the air going in and out.  This is a powerful tool to be mindful of.  Our ability to bring in and raise our frequency with our breathe is truly powerful.  Breathe work is the easiest way to change your mood and perspective.  Focusing on the gift of air coming in and out of your lungs is a beneficial first step in creating happiness in ones life.

The next line, “It’s when we are in the lower states that we are more susceptible to that which may harm us.”  I think this is a reference to when you’re feeling low.  Sometimes I feel down and out, we all do, it’s in those times that we are more easily swayed in one direction or another.  I know for myself when I am feeling low it’s easier to make the wrong choice.  One of my guilty pleasures when I am feeling low is to eat junk food.  I convince myself that if it’s ok to eat comfort junk food because I am feeling shitty.  It's a horrible cycle that continues because we all know that when we eat junk food we feel bad and then we feel bad we eat more junk food which perpetuates the cycle.  This is something to be aware of and make a conscious shift to change, but don’t get down on yourself if you make the wrong choice.  Learn from it and move on, beating up on yourself doesn’t help anything.  Learn and adapt.

The last line sums up the above, “Be aware of how you feel and charge yourself up for you have the ability to make change in your life.”  When you learn from your mistakes and how they make you feel you can figure out ways to charge yourself up and out of those low states.  It’s my opinion that no one can change you, it’s up to you to do the work to change your circumstances.  We all have great ability and power inside of us, ALL OF US.  At any given moment we can look inward to find our power, but it’s up to us to do so.  WE MUST TAKE ACTION for it will not happen overnight, we have to do the work to train ourselves but WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Seriously I used to be living with all sorts of depression, anxiety and soreness and I’ve changed my life with consistent action.  Do I still get down from time to time?  YES!!!!  We all need a helping hand sometimes which is why it’s ok to ask for help.  We can’t do it all alone!  If you need help, seek it.  If you need a friend, call one.  Open up and you will feel better.
